Millhouse Developments takes its name from Netherwitton Mill, our very first conversion and restoration project, which launched the company in 1984.

In the years since, we have built up our knowledge and experience of high quality residential construction and refurbishment, acquiring a reputation for innovation that we are proud to uphold.

With developments across Northumberland and County Durham, Millhouse specialises in the conversion and restoration of historic rural houses, farms and industrial buildings, creating modern homes that maintain the character and integrity of the original structure.

We select only the most desirable buildings and locations and limit ourselves to no more than five or six developments running concurrently, ensuring high standards of quality and workmanship are never compromised.

In 2006, Millhouse received the judges' special award at the Journal 21 st Century Living Awards for its unique and specialised approach to rural residential developments, with a particular focus on sustainable development.
